Hope Is Renewed as You Wait

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Beloved,

Waiting is not wasted time.

Come sit with Me here.

When you wait with Me, I am strengthening you in ways you cannot yet see.

I am working beneath the surface—steadying what feels fragile, aligning what feels uncertain.

You are not behind. You are being prepared.

Let me nurture and nourish you in the waiting.

Let go of the urgency that presses on your heart. You do not need to rush what I am carefully forming.

Return to trusting the loving intentions in My heart for you. As you wait, I am renewing your strength… and hope will rise within you again.

Like a nursing mother cannot forget the child she nourishes, I can never forget you and your needs. I hear your cries in the night, and I come running to you.

You are engraved on the palms of My hands (Isaiah 49:15–16; 1 Peter 2:24).

There now, I am here to steady your heart again.

Reflection

Waiting often feels like delay, but in God’s Kingdom it is frequently preparation.

Isaiah reminds us that those who wait on the Lord don’t merely endure—they are renewed. The Hebrew idea behind “wait” carries the sense of hopeful expectation, like a cord being woven together until it becomes stronger. During seasons of waiting, our hearts get strengthened by learning to wrap around His heart in new ways.

Sometimes we assume nothing is happening because we cannot see immediate change. Yet beneath the surface, God is deepening our trust and preparing us for what lies ahead.

If you’ve been feeling behind, forgotten, or anxious to move forward, remember this:

God is never late, and neither are you.

His timing is rooted in love, and His work within you is often more important than the outcome you’re waiting for. Life is a journey, and you have the best companion in Holy Spirit.🤍

Jesus,

Thank You that waiting with You is never wasted. Renew my strength today. Quiet every anxious thought that tells me I’m behind or forgotten.

Help me trust Your timing, Your goodness, and Your loving intentions toward me.

Steady my heart as I wait, and teach me to rest in the certainty that You are always working, even when I cannot yet see it. Amen.
